Standby/Onsite Rescue
It is not always practical to train in-house staff as rescue personnel. Knowing the need for having professionally trained emergency responders on site, FRC can provide a team of individuals for on-site emergency response. Our Standby Rescue Teams will deliver a cost-saving alternative to maintaining equipment and personnel for an onsite team. Our rescue teams provide emergency retrieval systems and supply air units, personal protective equipment, and medical kits for potential rescue in an IDLH atmosphere.
There are two states of readiness for our on-site rescuers:
Active Standby: The rescuers are partially suited up at or near the workspace and ready to begin a rescue operation immediately.
Standby: Rescuers are on-site and their equipment is accessible, but they are engaged in training workers, performing hazards assessments, developing pre-plans, or some other safety-related task.
Our rescuers are fully trained in
- Confined Space Operations-Entrant/Attendant/Entry Supervisor
- Confined Space Rescue
- Trench Rescue
- Hazmat Operations Level (Response)
- Fall Protection
- Bloodborne Pathogens
- Respiratory Protection
- Personal Protective Equipment Maintenance and Inspection
One of the last things you need is an accident that could damage your most valuable assets your workforce. That is why it should be the first thing you anticipate. you need a confined space rescue team that is experienced, prepared, and on cue for any mishaps.
OSHA requires a rescue standby team to be available for every permit-required confined space. Besides maintaining the expertise essential for the safety of your workforce, our confined space rescue reams can be at your site before your entry. They will verify that the space is clear for entry and will be there every minute of the operation.
FRC is currently evaluating its Stand by Rescue Team. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions or if you are interested in working for FRC’s Stand-by team. extensive background check of training and character will be required prior to working for Fire and Rescue Concepts, LLC
